William Alford

William Alford joined the team on January 1st, 2009 when the firms of Alford & Co., PC and Quin Rickard Lipshires & Grupp, LLP merged to become QRGA, LLP. Bill brought to the new firm extensive experience in the fields of Homeowner Associations, Retirement Plans, and Labor Unions as well as accounting and tax services to small/mid size firms.

Prior to merging with QRGA, Bill spent the last 25+ years developing and managing his own CPA practice. Bill, along with his staff that has also joined the new firm, is especially proud of the long term relationships with his clients and the continued faith and comfort that has developed between the accountant/business advisor and the owner/managers as their businesses grow from start up to success. Bill had previously worked in accounting management positions both in industry and for the government where he also testified as an expert witness.

Bill has served on the Boards of various non-profit organizations, has been an instructor in adult education programs in both Wrentham and Easton, and has been a regular speaker on a local cable TV program. He is a frequent apheresis donor to the American Red Cross. Bill is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the MA Society of CPAs (MSCPA) from whom he also received additional recognition for passing all parts of the CPA exam at the first sitting. He has also served on subcommittees for the MSCPA and spoken to CPAs around the state.

Bill is a graduate of Northeastern University holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a major in accounting and a minor in economics. Bill currently resides in Easton with his family.
